MTC’s programs are designed to help underserved students in the community maximize their potential and succeed. We recruit, train, and support qualified tutor and mentor volunteers to foster the academic, social, and emotional growth of students in local public schools.
Our Programs
Mentor Program
MTC mentors are matched with high-school students. The role of the mentor is to be a good listener, a source of support and encouragement, and a caring guide who inspires hope for a bright future.
Tutor Program
MTC tutors work with elementary and middle school students in classrooms and after-school homework programs. The role of the tutor is to be an academic helper and a source of support and encouragement.
